Detecting Bone Erosion In Rheumatoid Arthritis (Medical News Today)

Both magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) are more sensitive than radiography - the standard imaging technique - for detecting bone erosions in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), according to research published in the open access journal Arthritis Research & Therapy. The early detection of bone erosions is crucial for identifying those people most at risk from RA.

Abbott receives approval for HUMIRA (Adalimumab) for polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (News-Medical-Net)

Abbott has announced that it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to market HUMIRA (adalimumab) as a treatment to reduce signs and symptoms of moderately to severely active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in patients four years of age and older.
