Gleevec may be effective therapy for rheumatoid arthritis, researchers find (Stanford Report)
The potent cancer drug Gleevec, used to combat leukemia and some gastrointestinal cancers, may be useful in treating rheumatoid arthritis, according to a team of researchers at the School of Medicine. Their findings will be published in the October issue of the ‘Journal of Clinical Investigation.’
